Empire style porcelain sauce boat with lid, 19th century

Sauce boat with lid (or initially table sugar bowl according to the 19th century tableware sales catalogs) in antique 19th century empire style porcelain decorated with gold threads. Hole on the lid which allows you to put a spoon (a sprinkling spoon was used for this type of sugar bowl). Lid topped with a fruit, perhaps a quince. Handles worked in foliage. Dimensions: 22.5x14.5 cm - height 16.5 cm. This antique piece is in good condition, no chips or cracks, very clean gilding not faded. Careful and well protected shipping.
