Deep dish with polychrome tropical decoration by G&W Melbourne, circa 1885

Large G&W Melbourne polychrome hollow dish depicting a coastal tropical landscape which includes bamboo, birds (swallows or terns), palm trees, flowers and a sailboat. We can also distinguish a heron among the decorative motifs on the bottom of the plate. Made in England by Gildea & Walker. Made between 1881-1885. In very good condition, no chips or chips. Diameter 27 cm, height 4 cm
