Description
Earthenware tile by danuta le henaff, a still little-known ceramist. The tile has no visible signature, probably under the piece of linoleum glued underneath. The origin of this tile is not in doubt with the use of the famous blue "le henaff", the label "unique piece" is the same that the ceramist used on her pieces signed of polish origin, danuta le henaff ( 1922-2013) left poland in 1946, first for paris and the school of applied arts, then to madagascar where she met her husband yann le henaff who was a soldier stationed on the island. Back in france, she set up her workshop in larmor plage. It was notably the subject of an exhibition in the summer of 2011 in pornic. Condition: perfect condition dimension: dimensions: 14.5 cm.
