Vintage Floorlamp mod G35 of teak and iron by Hans-Agne Jakobsson, Sweden 1960s

Lovely and elegant teak and iron floor lamp mod g35 designed by hans-agne jakobsson for markaryd, sweden in the 1960s. Cross iron base and teak lamp pole with a new upholstered fabric drum shaped shade in a lowered position on the pole. Perfect lamp for any room with a lovely calming light. Signed with hans-agne jakobsson, markaryd g35 on the pole. Measures: 143 cmh X 40 cmd (shade). Dia foot 47 cm. Good vintage condition. Hans- agne jakobsson (1919-2009 ) was a swedish interior decorator and furniture designer between the 1950s and 1970s. Jakobssons lighting received great international attention as he was experimenting with a wide range of materials as brass, iron, glass, fabric, and wood shavings. Jakobsson mastered both the direction and color of the light.
