Oigen Japanese cast iron teapot

Magnificent japanese cast iron teapot from the oigen factory. Founded in 1852, oigen is one of the oldest (and renowned) cast iron teapot factories in japan. Each teapot comes from a unique hand-made ceramic mold which is destroyed after the teapot is made. Very resistant, oigen teapots have the advantage of keeping tea hot for long hours thanks to the quality of the cast iron used. Made in japan.
