An eye-catching set of four low bar stools, model “Sarapis”, designed by Philippe Starck and manufactured by Aleph Ubik in France around 1980. A modern, most eye-catching design! The stools are made of high quality grey lacquered metal. They have a rectangular shape with a curve coming down from under the seat that transitions into the tubular backrest. This tubular and bent structure can also be seen underneath at the foot support, with a chrome plated finish. The seats have a perforated finish. All together this makes the stools very appealing and interesting, a lovely addition to the interior! Manufacturer’s sticker on the frame as shown in the photos. Sold as a set, the mentioned price is for the 4 stools together. The set remains in good, vintage condition with some wear (to the lacquer) consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
