This poem appears in this work: "the stars hollow the sky / the colors undress / 'on the dress she has a body'". Dating it to 1912, sonia delaunay remembers poorly, since she did not know cendrars until 1913: 1912 is the year in which she began simultaneous fabrics. In 1968, she said: "i had already made the collages on books and the trans-siberian railway, and this simultaneous dress was in perfect harmony with our art of the moment".
