Description
Vintage floor lamp made in france, from the 1950s by jean-pierre ryckaert, object of folk art in wrought iron in the shape of a flare with a candle holder on one pillar and a ring on the second. The whole is riveted on a circular base. From medieval inspiration to brutalist design, when art and material mingle, this luminaire plunges us into the setting of beauty and the beast with jean marais in 1946. It will also find a place of choice in the hollow of a grand piano. The metal has been completely cleaned and treated to obtain the shiny dark patina of time. the original electrification is kept with a push button and a vintage plug. The candle is original and "in its juice". Since 1947, the company jp ryckaert/transfo-fer, which became ryckaert-le dauphin in 2014, has been created and manufactures decorative luminaires. Dimensions (cm): base diameter 33 X h133 socket b22. Bulb not included.
