Description
Kitsch in history made its first appearance among the bourgeoisie of the 19th century. It experienced a second craze in the 1950s/60s. Kitsch philosophy denounces a consumer society which advocates wealth and power and opposes popular values leaving room for the superfluous, the ridiculous and the vulgar. Six dessert, cake, dessert forks in their cardboard box, vintage piece circa 1960. The handles are in transparent resin slightly tinted with green. Decorated with inclusions of shells, algae...the forks are made of stainless steel. Dimensions: total length: 18 cm, handle: 10.5 cm, handle width: 2.5 cm. Unit weight: 51 g.
