Art Deco Floor Lamp, 1920s

Black art deco floor lamp with parchment paper shade. The black-painted wooden stand in its original condition is sturdy and stable and its surface has been gently refreshed while retaining its antique patina. The shade consists of an original paper ball in excellent original condition and a newly made paper plate on top of it. Since the bulb is covered by a paper shade, the lamp produces a very subtle light, more like a decorative object than a reading lamp. The item has been rewired using bulb socket e25-e27, max. 40w.
