Set 4 1920s Orrefors Smoked ‘Astrid’ Port-Wine Glasses

Please be aware that customs fees may be applicable if you buy from outside of the UK.] A matched set of four port or fortified wine glasses from the ‘astrid’ series, with a delicate flared bowl and unusual ribbed stem. They were designed in 1923 by simon gate for swedish glassworks, orrefors. The colours differ slightly between them – two are a smoked brown, and two are similar but with a faint hint of blue. Only noticeable when against a brilliant white background, and not in general use.
