Sadler english porcelain teapot

Pretty porcelain teapot with golden floral decoration on a cream background. James stadler and sons ltd. Created its first sadler teapots in 1882, the first teapots manufactured between 1882 and 1899 are without any marking. These first “brown betty” style teapots made the company famous. The company later created teapots depicting scenes, landmarks and people from the united kingdom, as well as cups and tea accessories. For any sadler teapot made after 1947, several different printed marks were used.
