A fantastic dining table, “il colonnato”, designed by mario bellini and manufactured by cassina in italy around 1970. This impressive piece is fully made of high quality red travertine marble, which has a beautiful warm colour and fantastic luxurious appeal. The large round top is held by five cylinder columns for legs, each individually placed after which the top can be placed. The heavy quality of the materials makes the piece strong and stable without any addition connections being used. It’s a beautiful find of mid-century italian design. A true statement piece in any decor! The table remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
