Mid-Century Modern Zenit Vase by Gunnar Nylund for Rörstrand, Sweden

A large version of a vintage vase known as zenit, made by one of scandinavias most talented and famous designer; gunnar nylund for the prestigious rörstrand, sweden. What makes this vase so very special is that even though it has a very simple design, it has the most elegant and sophisticated appearance and muted green color. This is very much due to the craftsmanship needed to be able to produce such quality and iconic ceramic objects. This together with the incredible glazing which has a slight harpsichord glaze technique with a beautiful warm green color. All in all, a stunning and elegant vase, a piece of art, which has a modern feel to it. It can also function as a jug. It is 21m (8.26") high, and around 12cm (4.72") in diameter and in an excellent condition.
