Description
This small wooden chair alone represents all the tenderness and nostalgia that brings us back to our life as a child. It is certainly a very unique model since it was personalized in the 70s by a mother who handled the art of diy deco before the time. The wooden chair was therefore repainted in soft white and green, and the seat covered with a school illustration of the time. We recognize by its typical colors, the extract of an educational school poster of the editions mdi (house of teachers) created in 1952. This illustration dates from the 70s and we can have fun with the representation of the time. The wise little girl, obviously, makes sand castles near her mother and the more intrepid boy, obviously (but not too much anyway, the buoy is there...) runs happily towards the sea. The harmony of all these transformations is perfect and if we add to this the natural patina of the peeling paint, this small chair is a wonder that will enchant young and old children. It is perfectly stable. The poster is surprisingly in very good condition, the paper is neither tarnished nor stained. A varnishing of the seat can be considered.
