Handcrafted stoneware box

Box with lid in artisanal stoneware, signed "mas d'avall" (in the Perpignan region, France). Gray sandstone with verdigris reflections, speckled with dark brown/black; varnished inside and out; accented with hazel brown touches on the handles and a light brown/orange, hazel green and black checkerboard band on the lid. In perfect condition. Dimensions: diameter 11 cm (13 cm with handles), h 7 cm.
