Antique shaped piece, a teapot, in silver-plated metal, embossed scroll decoration, signed Thomas Turner (England, South Yorkshire, Sheffield), 1950s. Marked in hollow under the object: "ENCORE / T. TURNER & C° / EPBM / 8 1 6 / 3" (EPBM for "Electroplated Britannia Metal", electroplating process) Height 17.7 cm; length 21.5 cm; width 9.3 cm; weight 459 g. Used condition. Some dents. Silver plating partially disappeared. Small knob for gripping the lid missing. This "vintage teapot" of English origin has poured liters, of course. It is in its own juice! How could it be otherwise when you know the love of the English for this drink... Don't wait for tea time, give your interior decor a retro, worn and old-fashioned charm, so British!
