Pair of large Louis XVI style quiver sconces from Lucien GAU - gilded bronze

Beautiful pair of large 1-light Louis XVI style sconces, by the famous French bronzier: Lucien GAU. Manufacturer of the Faubourg Saint Antoine, in Paris. Manufactured in the second half of the 20th century. Made in bronze. Original gilding and patina, very good condition with a beautiful shine; note, scratches in the gilding in places. The wall part represents a quiver. The light arm is decorated with acanthus leaves and pearls. They are electrified and tested (for E14 bulb). Cardboard candles, very good condition. The manufacturing label is still present on the back of a wall light (see last photo). Careful packaging provided by Colissimo Registered to your home.
