Salt shaker zoomorphic parakeet bird

Adorable pair of parakeets that act as salt and pepper shakers. They are fine and detailed with numerous reliefs like on the feathers for example, and the tangy colors are still very vivid. They probably date from the 70s and were part of a very large collection of salt and pepper shakers of which I acquired a few specimens. They are in good general condition, no cracks, no chips, the transparent soft plastic caps are functional and in good condition, just a small chip on the end of the wing of the yellow parakeet and on the eye on the other (eye less visible as a result). These parakeets measure 11.5 cm in length, 6.5 cm in height and approximately 4 cm in width.
