Magnificent louis XVI style silver teapot resting on 4 feet decorated with leaves. The handle, the serving part and the lid grip are also nicely worked with leaf decoration. Very good condition, very light scratches from use and micro dents. The interior is clean. The voting booths are made of ivory. Note that the handle has a little play. Ideal for a pretty table. French work from the 19th century, hallmarked with a neck brace made by emile puiforcat working in paris from 1857. We note the presence of the number 12 below the teapot.
