In 1969, charles and ray eames developed the original design of the aluminium group chairs produced by herman miller by equipping them with soft, individually padded cushions. They named it the soft pad chair. Their simple lines, innovative use of materials and suspension comfort have made them a design icon and have kept it among the most popular seating choices for the office and home for over 50 years. Upholstery in black leather, four-spoke swivel base and armrests in chromed aluminum. In good vintage condition, wear in accordance with age and use.
