LW PARIS - Delightful rare French chromed Art Deco figural swan night lamp by LW Paris (ca 1930)

Beautiful 1930's chrome silhouette table lamp by lw paris with a stylish figural swan on the base and a frosted glass flower tulip shade. The arm represents the flower’s pedicel which reaches over the swan’s head. The chrome is in a good condition with some very minor surface scratches and marks, its shine is briljant as if it just came from the lighting store. The shade has no chips or scratches and is signed ‘czechoslovakia' at the rim. Apparently this shade is not from france but it's makes a truly wonderful combination. The base of the lamp is signed lw paris. It is rewired with grey cloth covered twisted cord and has a functional on/off switch on the heavy base. It holds the original b22 socket. Measurements: Length 24 cm / 9, 5 " Height 22 cm / 8, 6 " Width 9 cm /3, 5".
