Massenet carafe in saint-louis crystal - wine pitcher size 4147 signed

This sublime massenet wine carafe is a creation of the manufacture de cristal de saint-louis. Embellished with a carved handle, it is a superb wine jug for decanting and serving wine according to the rules of the art... The "massenet" model was created in 1895 and is still in the saint-louis catalog. As with the glasses of this model, the carafe is decorated with size 4147 with its crossed bevels and cut palmettes. Perfectly transparent and of high quality, the cut is rich and fine, made with a wheel. In very good condition, it measures 37 cm in height X 12 cm in diameter and bears the stamp "saint-louis france". I point out scratches from use. For example, the massenet square decanter in saint-louis crystal is sold new for €710 per piece.
