Description
πππ rare description πππ! A small collectible coffee maker from the iconic tc100 tableware service: this fine example of bauhaus design was created by hans (nick) roericht in 1959 for his thesis project at the hfg ulm design school in germany. It was immediately incorporated into the permanent collection of moma in new york. This service simplifies the form as much as possible, there is no superfluous, but nothing can be removed either. Marked on the "thomas germany" base, considered an icon of modernist design, the tc100 collection is included in kathryn b. Hiesinger's book "landmarks of 20th century design": smooth, without trim, with a dot on the lid that aligns with the dot on the handle to indicate where the edge of the lid is snapping into place. The coffee maker is adorned with a light green, dark green and navy blue geometric pattern. This play was produced between 1962 and 1977 by thomas rosenthal. They are in excellent condition. Length (with spout and handle): 15 cm / height: 11 cm / diameter: 8.7 cm / heel diameter: 6.8 cm. π§ͺ capacity: 35 cl. βοΈ weight: 500 grams.
