Hakuli israel is an artisan workshop active in the 1950s and 1960s in israel, specializing in the creation of decorative metal objects (primarily brass) with a green/verdigris patina, which is fully in line with the late art deco and israeli modernist movements. Little documented in official works, hakuli's production remains rare on the current market, making them sought-after pieces by collectors of vintage israeli design and mid-century modern objects. * after the creation of the state of israel in 1948, a significant art and craft movement developed, encouraged by the rise of international tourism and the affirmation of a national artistic identity. Workshops such as pal-bell (maurice ascalon), hazorfim, bezalel and others, developed an artistic language blending jewish traditions, western modernism, and local craftsmanship. Hakuli is part of this dynamic, offering pieces intended for the high-end tourist market and for export (to the usa and europe), in the tradition of pal-bell, but with a more confidential production. * dimensions: 11 cm length / 6 cm height weight: 0.100 gr * our packages are packed with great care (bubble wrap, newspapers, package reinforcement, etc.).
