The top of the cylinder is decorated with a gallant scene set in a moving, finely chiseled brass frame, which reveals three drawers as well as a shelf. The removable shelf and its original red velvet with some traces of time rests on the large open drawer. The upper part is made up of three small drawers on the front which is topped with an openwork brass gallery. It rests on four curved legs with bronze falls which end in golden sabots.
