In 1977, alain and his wife chantal settled in la borne, a hamlet near neuilly-en-sancerre, known for its rich pottery tradition. In their studio in la brossarderie, alain devoted himself to throwing the pieces, while chantal took care of the glazing and firing. Their production is distinguished by pieces in pyrite stoneware, partially glazed with ash, often wood-fired, reflecting a natural and authentic aesthetic.
