Great 20th century Empire style floor lamp in gilt bronze

Cod: 10871. Great italian floor lamp from the first half of the 20th century. Empire style object, in bronze and chiseled and gilded metal, lacquered wood and glass, of excellent quality. Floor lamp with 9 lights, complete with glass (not original, replaced during the 20th century). A glass bowl has a small scratch, (not photographable). Lacquered wooden base adorned with palmettes (with a diameter of approximately 49 cm) which supports and raises an octagonal bronze element with zoomorphic feet (see photo). Upper part richly adorned with 8 finely chiseled and gilded swans (see photo) and a sphere that supports the central light. Difficult to find object, ideal to place in a living room or study, for antique dealers and interior designers. Electrified lamp with electrical system to be restored. Structurally sound, base with some discolouration, overall in a fair state of conservation.
