Vintage 1950s metal coffee table

It is therefore a steel coffee table with an ashtray in the middle. Obviously you don't have to be a smoker to buy it. According to the explanations of the antique dealer from whom I had bought it in paris in the 80s, it would come from the casino de royan before its destruction. Impossible to verify, but does it really matter. It is in good condition, and it is a beautiful original decorative object for a modern or industrial interior.
