Very old Kirman carpet 202x305

Kirman from the 1930s, in very good general condition, with slight general wear. Beautiful dimensions, approximately 202x305, very approximate measurement because entirely handmade. Representing a large central medallion, bouquets, branches and fine interlacing make up this carpet, superb spandrels. Although originating from the Iranian city of Kirman, from which these carpets bear the name, no piece is more than 150 years old, weaving only started in this region around 1880. Fineness of execution, delicacy of colors, quality of materials used make it a collector's item.
