Table lamp by Tommaso Barbi This beautiful lamp designed by Tommaso Barbi in Italy will not leave anyone indifferent. Here, love at first sight is not something you fall in love with at first sight and that is a good sign. This is often what happens with timeless objects. Indeed, you will never get tired of this lamp. Finely studied lines, a metal lampshade that just rests on its support and perfectly matching colors. Burgundy, cream white and the gold color of brass blend together wonderfully. Very well made, it is therefore composed of metal, bakelite and brass. It has been revised and works perfectly. Tommaso Barbi was a very active designer in the 60s/70s and is very well known for his leaf lamp. Very close to the Hollywood Regency style, he used a lot of brass but also Murano glass or marble in his creations. We will note a few small snags on the lampshade or a slight oxidation of the brass. Small defects that go unnoticed once the lamp is in place.
