Ligna style Thonet B9 bentwood chair 1940s Wiener Stuhl

The b9 / 209 chair or wiener stuhl was designed around 1900 by thonet. The chair has also gained fame because it was a favorite of the french designer le corbusier and was also given a place in his interiors. This copy of the chair was made in the 1940s by ligna in the former czechoslovakia. Ligna is a nationalized thonet factory after the second world war. The chair is made of solid beech bentwood and has its original hand-woven rattan seat and is also in good condition. Signed.
