Amazing mid-century modern table or floor lamp with large globe made of opaline glass. Made in italy, 1970s. We found this mid-century lamp in italy, the place to be for mid-century lamps. We where immediately struck by the sheer beauty of this lamp. It’s a subtle play of different classy modernist materials. Frame in black metal topped with a stainless steel plate on which the large white opaline glass ball is mounted. The light is beautifully reflected and diffused thanks to the stainless steel plate. This creates a beautifully soft and even illumination throughout the room. Dimensions of the frame: 51, 5 cm X 51, 5 cm. Diameter of the globe: 35 cm.
