Handmade Afghan Baluchi Rug

Dark red afghan baluchi (or belutch) rug with typical geometric patterns. Hand spun and knotted wool (100%). In good condition, clean, non-smoking home. Note a small repair on one of the edges (see photo). Priced accordingly. Dimensions: 1.05 m X 1.45 m. Weight: 3.5 kg. Balutch rugs represent traditional nomadic craftsmanship. They take their name from the collective term for different tribes that live on the border of iran and afghanistan. Most use dark colors belonging to the spectrums of red, blue, black and brown. These hand-woven oriental rugs are of superior quality.
