Cut crystal wine carafe saint-louis model massenet 4147 h35cm

This superb massenet decanter is a creation of the manufacture de cristal de saint-louis. It is a beautiful wine carafe for decanting and serving wine according to the rules of the art... The "massenet" model was created in 1895 and is still in the saint-louis catalog. As with the glasses of this model, the carafe is decorated with size 4147 with its crossed bevels and cut palmettes. Perfectly transparent and of high quality, the cut is rich and fine, made with a wheel. In very good condition, it measures 35 cm in height X 11.5 cm in diameter. This decanter is not signed and the stopper does not appear original but fits well (different number). I note scratches from use and a slight deposit at the bottom. For example, the massenet square whiskey decanter in saint-louis crystal is sold new for €710 per piece.
