"Scissor" chairs by A.Citterio and P.Tuttle for Flexform

Pair of "Scissor" Chairs or Armchairs by A. Citerrio and P.Tuttle for Flexform (Italy) circa 1980. Heavy and solid but very elegant, an X-shaped frame in chromed steel over which the leather has been stretched, this chair is a postmodern interpretation of a classic mid-century icon. This rare version is in a thick black leather imitating snakeskin. Both are in original vintage condition with visible scuffs, creases and cracks in the leather, especially at the fasteners, one in particular is more damaged at the seat. But both are still operational as is and, for enthusiasts, could do with a leather restoration. The low price for this pair of course takes these details into account.
