Impressionist painting - signed oil on panel - winter landscape 20th century

Hello. I am offering a splendid snowy and very poetic landscape on hardboard (post-1920 period). This oil on board in perfect condition signed m.guillo is probably attributed to the painter mathias guillo. The wintery gray-blue atmosphere of this work is very representative of this season. A lively scene of a character carrying a load of wood to heat himself towards the neighboring houses reminds us of the very harsh winter conditions in the countryside in times gone by. Frame dimensions: 47 cm X 38 cm. Dimensions of the work: 27 cm X 22 cm. Contrary to appearances, this work is not a watercolor, it is indeed an oil painting but an extremely fine oil painting which makes its originality and rarity. This oil on hardboard has been completely cleaned, an anti-UV satin varnish (winsor and newton) has been applied by a fine art professional. An oak frame from the same period has been restored and a double mat has been added. The whole thing is ready to hang.
