Set of 4 cesca b32 design chairs by marcel breuer. Chromed steel structure, "natural" varnished solid beech frame and black imitation leather fabric. An iconic piece of the Bauhaus spirit signed by designer Marcel Breuer. In 1928, he created a revolutionary chair called cesca, the diminutive of his daughter Francesca's first name, the first cantilever chair. Functional, simple and resolutely modern. Its wide seat gives it exceptional comfort. Made in Italy in 1987. “Made in Italy” stamp under each seat accompanied by the date of manufacture. Very good general state of conservation. Traces of use and time to note (see photos) including on the edges of the seats and some traces of oxidation on the underside of the chrome tubes. All the chairs have been restored (cleaning the chrome, wood-burning treatment and filling, oiling the wood, etc.) and are sold with new glides. The seats have been redone with new black leatherette.
