A classic large danish layered pendant light. It consists of 4 discs in matte powder coating giving a nice soft and glare free projection downwards. The light coming out from between the discs creates a decorative effect along the sides. The light is fitted with the classic italian made "rolly" adjustable hanging contraption. The rolly is fully functional and practical but should you for esthetic reasons prefer a straight fixed cable let me know and I will attach one. Good vintage condition with a few minor scratches. Standard e 27 light bulb socket. Frandsen lighting started in 1968, benny frandsen received an education as a low-voltage engineer, but never really used it, he would rather design lamps. Frandsen was the man who invented the magnet ball lamp, which hung on the wall in almost all danish homes, today it is a retro cult. With help from china, verner panton lamps and furniture are also produced at frandsen and new ball lamps are back in fashion.
