Description
Old diamino letter game in its original box. It seems complete to me: the rules of the game are present and no empty slot in the box so all the letters must be there. This game was invented by madeleine janssens widow rousseau in the thirties: the first edition dates from 1935, the one presented here dates from before 1968 because it includes the mention "patented s.g.d.g. France and abroad). This game does not hide its age: the box has tears, one of which was repaired a long time ago by a piece of adhesive, as well as pencil marks and stains. The cardboard part that receives the letters does not have a tear, so the letters can still be stored correctly. The rule of the game has small tears in the folds. The letters are printed on a golden background on a thick cardboard, they are in good general condition but have some small spots and stripes and the gilding fades in places. The box measures 16 cm by 7.5 cm for 2.5 cm thick and the whole weighs 240g.
