Piet Hein Eek 1408 Contemporary Bookshelf in patined solid copper, Dutch Design

Sheet steel bookcase (model 1408) made of solid copper designed and manufactured by piet hein eek in 2009. This bookcase was part of a furniture series made of sheet steel and is typical of his work as a dutch designer with a focus on simple technical and practical solutions but a powerful visual appearance. The bookcase is in very good condition and the copper has aged nicely over the years.
