Description
Louis XVI style tripod pedestal table with bronze frame covered with a portor marble top. The arched uprights decorated with rings, joined by a spacer centered with a pine cone. Era / year 70. Sun: 71 cm high X 59 cm diameter for top top top X 27 cm diameter for bottom top. Portor is a relatively rare marble, mined in italy since ancient times. This marble is famous for the richness of its yellow-gold venules, and for the intensity of its black background, rich in organic matter and often traversed by slits of tension filled with white sparite.
