Panthella table lamp 23430 by Verner Panton for Louis Poulsen, 1970s

Danish table lamp called Panthella designed by Verner Panton in 1971. This table lamp with model number 23430 was manufactured by Louis Poulsen and is an early version with the switch built into the metal base. Just one year after its design, this lamp rightly received the iF Design Award in 1972. The lamp is in very nice condition considering its age. The manufacturer's sticker is still present at the bottom as a sign of authenticity. Without a doubt, this is a beautiful design icon!
