Description
Collector's item! Victorian plate "t. Walker" (thomas walker, longton, staffordshire, england) in black molded and glazed earthenware (flow mulberry pattern) dating from 1845-51. Idyllic setting: the cavetto presents a castle in the countryside in a river landscape, a drawing of buildings and trees; the well consists of a lake overlooked by mountains. Model name: "tavoy". Predictable signs of aging. The glaze is very finely cracked, thick and soft to the touch. Two small chips on the edge (see photos). Diameter 25 cm.
