8 Clairefontaine earthenware dinner plates Kyoto pattern sepia late 19th century

Superb suite of 8 sepia kyoto flat plates in clairefontaine earthenware, circa 1878. They depict japanese decorations in cartouches or circles, with a samurai fighting a giant snake, a character with a fan, mount fuji, lovers and a peasant. In very good condition, very shiny pieces and lively patterns. Possible slight traces of time in the form of hair. Dimensions: 23cm in diameter net weight unpacked: 3.2kg.
