Attention collectors! Beautiful Italian 'medea' chair designed by Vittorio Nobili for Fratelli Tagliabue in 1955. Seat in molded teak wood supported by a black steel base. First announced in domus issue 329 in April 1955, it has become an iconic and highly collectible piece of mid-century design. Stamped under the seat with the manufacturer's mark. The condition is as shown in the photo, the traces of wear are consistent with age and use and cracks on the exterior right side but not structural. Dimensions: height: 83 cm (32.68 in.) X width: 61 cm (24.02 in.)
