Lalique quickly took its place among the largest French and foreign crystal makers and the contrast between transparency and satin specific to the brand became famous throughout the world. Among the works of Marc Lalique, we particularly remember the angel glass, which takes up the motif of the angel with the smile of Reims Cathedral, as a nod to the origins of the Lalique family, or even the bottle of the famous perfume l' zeitgeist, for nina ricci. He died in 1977, leaving his daughter Marie-Claude the reins of the Lalique crystal factory.
