Rare candlestick from the 1940s-1950s, signed by the Breton ceramic artist Paul Foulen (1899-1958). Very light gray glazed earthenware, with a subtly speckled appearance. Very pretty hand-painted decoration presenting stylized flowers and foliage, in cobalt blue and black colors. Drilling on the base for possible electrification). Signed with a brush by the artist under the base: "p. Fouillen quimper". Height: 19 cm. Width: 21 cm. Base diameter: 11 cm. Weight: 910 g. Excellent condition: no missing parts, no cracks. Note: two slight surface marks on the enamel, very discreet (photo with arrows).
