Set of 8 mismatched blue & white soup plates of English, French and Dutch manufacture: (1) Royal Sphinx Regout Maestricht "Old England Cambridge" (Made in Holland), (1) Broadhurst Staffordshire "The English Scene" (Made in England) , (3) Lunéville "English Style" (France), (3) Myott (Meakin) "Tonquin" (Made in Staffordshire, England). English-style blue & white transferware: romantic decorations of finely detailed country scenes, borders with abundant floral motifs. Fine earthenware or ironstone (for the English). All in very good condition: no accidents, no obvious signs of use, some cracks (normal and without impact) in the enamel on two of the Lunéville plates, scattered stains on the reverse of the Myott plates (see detailed photos). Diameter 23 cm. ✨ Deep plates are not just for soup time! They accompany and enhance dishes from starter to dessert: imagine in these blue & white plates ceviche or sparkling carpaccio with pink berries... blanquette... tomato tian... red fruits and sabayon... chocolate charlotte and custard... or a nice portion of trifle!
