Description
Metal stools designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen in 1967. Model "M3170" The stools are marked at the bottom. We have refinished the frames and repainted the seating. One seating also has a repair to the wood. Arne Jacobsen Arne Jacobsen was a Danish architect and designer. He is remembered for his contribution to architectural Functionalism. He was succesfull with his simple but effective chair designs. Jacobsen was admitted to the Architecture School at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. He have won the C. F. Hansen Medal (1955) and the year after winning the "House of the Future" award, Arne Jacobsen set up his own office.
